Yoga has been introduced in the year 2008 in order to equip the students to handle such pressure and competition. Children of Classes 6 to 12 attend these classes and practice yoga regularly. Yoga helps children to relax, concentrate and focus. It develops speech skills through chants and improves sleeping patterns. HPS has introduced Yoga as an optional subject for Classes 9 & 10 this year. The children practice Yoga and have to take an exam in the theoretical as well as practical aspects of Yoga.
